Safe Arrival Guarantee
We are confident in our professional shipping and packing of all vintage items. If your item should somehow arrive damaged, please send your order number as well as photographs of the packaging and all damage to the item to bodyelectricvintage@gmail.com. Partial to full refunds may be issued to original payment method only based on extent of damage.
Re-used and recycled packing materials are used whenever possible.
Flicker-Free Guarantee
For all light fixtures rewired by Body Electric Vintage, issues such as flickering, switch failure, or other internal wiring issues not due to customer-caused physical damage will be repaired at no cost for one year from date of purchase. Issues due to customer-caused physical damage (included but not limited to breakage, cut cords, etc.) are not included.
Customer must be able to verify purchase date. Customer must cover shipping and packing costs to Brooklyn, NY. Not responsible for damage due to shipping or packing on return route. Shipping insurance recommended. Body Electric Vintage will cover re-shipping costs and insurance.
Rewired Lighting
Buyer understands that rewired lighting is not UL listed. For information on obtaining UL listing for a lighting purchase, please email bodyelectricvintage@gmail.com.
Customer understands that rewired lighting should be handled with reasonable safety precautions, including but not limited to: pull electrical cords from wall outlets by the plug only, do not allow children to play with electrical devices like lamps, do not touch frayed electrical cords, do not allow pets to chew on electrical cords, keep away from water, use appropriate bulbs, do not touch the inside of a socket, etc.
Vintage Condition
All vintage and antique products are sold as-is with any cosmetic defects described in product descriptions and included in photographs to the best of our ability. Please read and view product descriptions carefully, as refunds and returns are NOT offered for product characteristics described and/or photographed in the product description.
Defects not photographed or caused by shipping are eligible for full to partial refund to original payment method, depending on extent of damage. Send your order number as well as photographs of the packaging and all damage to the item to bodyelectricvintage@gmail.com.
Buyer understands that vintage and antique products have not been tested for chemical or material composition, including potentially hazardous materials such as lead.
Shipping
Shipping is currently available to USA locations only. Most orders ship in 3-5 business days. Flat rate shipping rates are based on shipping distance and package size.
